Another Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is in the books, and we're still buzzing from all the innovative activations and thought provoking panels we saw throughout the week.
Our team learned so much from the broadcasters, advertisers, and tech partners we met in the Madhive lounge and across festival events, and we were thrilled to partner up with the Frequence team to spread the word about local advertising.
Here are some of our favorite Madhive team moments — including a first look at our new content series.
If you visited the Madhive lounge or strolled along the Croisette, you might have noticed our nifty new visuals.
CTV advertising offers unique value that goes beyond that of traditional TV, so we wanted to make sure that Cannes attendees could "C" TV differently.
The recurrent design also highlights two essential Madhive pillars: the precision of digital targeting, and the potential for CTV to extend an advertisers reach to new channels and audiences. (Plus, it looks really great on a billboard.)
On the first night of the fest, we kicked things off with a happy hour in the Madhive lounge at the Majestic Hotel. Guests from across the industry got to soak up the sun while chatting with our team about the latest advertising trends.
With a temporary Madhive Content Studio on-site, we were able to take advantage of all the experts at Cannes with insights about the industry.
We recorded several episodes of our soon-to-launch series, Beyond the Numbers with Spencer Potts, and we talked with Michael Kassan, Founder of 3C Ventures (pictured below); Andrew Casale, CEO of Index Exchange; and Michael Page, SVP of Digital Sales at Fox, to name a few.
Our debut episode will be dropping soon, with more industry-leader interviewees on the way!
The Madhive team also participated in a series on local TV that will appear on TVRev later this summer.
We love to talk shop with the best and the brightest in advertising, so naturally we jumped at the opportunity to join some panels.
Our SVP of Sales, Kristin Wnuk Crawford, was featured on a panel that was co-hosted by The Female Quotient and Direct Digital Holdings. The group explored how the pending cookie transformation can be a catalyst for a more equitable and transparent advertising ecosystem, and thankfully you can watch the full panel here.
Kristin also talked about safeguarding the future of CTV with our partner HUMAN Security, and Luc Dumont, SVP of Business Development, spoke about data and identity with Experian.
You can't come to Cannes and not socialize, so of course we made a party appearance (or two).
We were a sponsor for TelevisaUnivision's party for agencies, which featured premium performers — including Diplo — and a guest list of top agencies and brands. We also co-hosted a party with DPAA in the Madhive lounge.
It was another good showing at Cannes! If you missed us and want to chat about CTV, connect with us here.
